The Anchor Pieces We Just Can't Quit

The Anchor Pieces We Just Can't Quit

An anchor piece is the one thing a room gets built around. Not the accent you swap out every season, but the piece substantial enough to hold its own no matter what's happening around it. It's usually a little bigger, a little bolder, or just made well enough that it never feels dated.

This month we're spotlighting a few of ours: a wicker urn and pedestal pair for height and texture, a hand-painted lamp for warmth, and a scalloped footbath planter that's a little different from anything else in the shop.

The Pair That Grounds a Whole Room

The Braided Wicker Urn stands 21 inches tall, with an intricate handwoven braid that reads differently depending on the finish you choose. Its matching Pedestal was made to go right alongside it, though the pedestal works just as well on its own as a plant stand or side table.

Use them together for instant height and texture in a corner that needs it or split them up between two different spots in your home. Both are available in English Chestnut or Cherry Tea Ombre.

Two More Worth Knowing About

The Classic Tole Pagoda Lamp Base brings the same chinoiserie silhouette you already love in our lanterns and planters, hand-painted in Cream, Asian Blue, Hot Pink, or Turquoise. It's the kind of piece that anchors a console or bedside table the moment it's switched on, and just as much of a statement when it's off.

The Blue Willow Scalloped Footbath Planter has an ornate scalloped rim in the classic Blue Willow pattern. It's just as at home holding an Anita's arrangement as it is playing ice bucket at your next party. It also comes in Green and Pink Willow, if blue isn't your color story.

Come See Them in Person

Photos only tell part of the story with pieces like these. Stop by the shop and see how the wicker urn and pedestal hold a corner, how the lamp changes a room once it's lit, and how the footbath planter looks with something planted in it.
